Dr Thanapoom Boonipat

Dr. Thanapoom (Mo) Boonipat was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, before being sent to a U.S. boarding school at the age of 13—a leap that shaped his global perspective and independence. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, then pursued his medical doctorate at Dartmouth in New Hampshire.

He chose the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN—ranked the #1 hospital in the nation and the world for multiple years—for his plastic surgery residency. There, he honed his skills in complex facial reconstruction and aesthetics. To deepen his expertise, he completed a craniomaxillofacial fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, a global leader in jaw surgery and bony contouring, where he participated in over 100 complex double-jaw and facial contouring procedures.
